VTEL

VTEL, LLC is a marketing company that specializes in selling vacation packages for the timeshare industry.  In 2005, VTEL began blending outbound marketing programs with the existing inbound programs.  They needed to replace other options with a cost effective predictive dialer along with providing a completely blended inbound IVR and ACD solution.

VTEL chose Data-Tel’s xSELLerator Hosted solution. This edition is capable of monitoring inbound and outbound programs, directing inbound calls to agents, facilitating outgoing calls, processing lead information and purchasing data.  The xSELLerator Hosted platform was able to provide all the capacity, features and functionality that VTEL would need.

In 2006, VTEL opened a new call center. Although satisfied with Data-Tel’s service, Owner and President Robert Tantalo wanted to explore other less expensive solutions.  After several errors and nearly closing down the company due to the mounting technical problems, VTEL returned to Data-Tel.  Data-Tel technical support quickly undid what had been done and re-established the original setup. This included transferring VTEL’s lead lists to their servers, rechecking dialing connections and making sure employees were up to date. 

Once re-established, VTEL was stronger than ever, taking advantage of Data-Tel’s software improvements, comprehensive customer technical support, free optimization training and online video training.
